Thanks for making the January thread Stewart. Everything is fine here, just been real busy these past few days helping a family out. They moved from Kerman to Fresno 2 days ago, and I have been watching their kids (they have five, but I don't watch the 18 month old, just the 14, 13, 8, and 6 year olds. All girls except the 13 year old, and the 18 month old.) I have been driving them around Fresno getting HUD paperwork done, and TANF,(the mother is of native American decent, and gets aid for the kids). Two of the kids are spending the night as I type this, and last night, The oldest boy (13) and I stayed up until 7am this morning, Which is why I totally forgot about the new month thread. I have been helping them for about a month or so, but they were finally able to get a place under section 8, and so it has been hectic here lately trying to get in and settled.
Yes indeed, everything is going well over here. Just a bit busy. But I love it. Sure beats being in the apartment alone. The 14 year old girl spends 90% of the time on her phone listening/watching YouTube music videos, and is a bit of a loner, so she spends most her time in one bedroom, the 13 year old boy plays video games on one of my 4 computers, and the two younger girls also play video games on two of my other computers, so it is relatively easy to keep them entertained.
Howdy fellers and Happy New year. All the lights are off the house, decorations all packed up and ready to put in rafters. Just sitting here listening to Howard Stern and relaxing....have a great weekend.
Ok clearing a spot in the Garage, it was due when you compleat a bunch of projects it seems like there's no place to store it, I didn't think I was a Rat packer ( good Lar'd ) what a mess I made
Took a run up the mountain today to go skiing with the family. Used it to give the 6.0 a good workout and had forgotten how much oomph it has. Climbed the Dunsmiur grade at 70+ (flow of traffic) with no effort Snow was great and we had lots of fun, now to do chores tomorrow.
Right on Scott, you da man. Awaiting fulfillment is what I get from riff raff and I paid for 2nd day although with ups running a day behind I should get by Thursday. Keep you posted.
