1955 ford f100 Rebuild

I have a 351W engine with a MII IFS as well. I used the Ford Racing dual sump pan with the rear sump pickup but found that there were still issues with clearance and the front sump drain plug. I modified my pan so that there was minimum clearance between the pump and the pan. I also moved the drain plug from the bottom of the front sump to the rear. I thought that all was good, I tested the pan by putting lacquer thinner in it...any cracks or crevices SHOULD have shown themselves at that point but no, when the engine got to operating temp the pan seaped. No slam on the pan but I had spent too much time on modifying that pan to go any further. Here is the pan that I bought to replace it...I wish I had gone this route FIRST. No front sump, no notch in the center of the pan, extensive baffling, and an additional quart of oil capacity.

A few issues:
Engine is sitting too far back.
Oil pan is a center sump and not a rear sump. Try one like this Ford Performance 351W 5 Quart Engine Swap Oil Pan Kit Rear Sump | Brothers Performance
Here is a pic showing how your engine should setup with the firewall. This is as close and as high as you should go.

I used the following Oil pan from Summit. Worked very well! on my corvette front end install on my 56. Came with everything to do the swap. From your pictures this one would work very well for you and let you get the motor much lower in the chassis.
