Install 2014 Superduty Radio In 2004 F150

Anyone know if this is possible? Plugs are the same. Bought a radio antenna adapter, not bothering with satellite radio. When I tried installing new radio I only got power when I pressed the power button then it would shut off after 10 seconds and only displayed the time. Is it in theft mode or just wired differently?

Im just wondering why? Why go to the trouble of taking your dash apart and removing your radio to replace it with basically the same radio? You can get these touch screen, dvd, xm satelite, blue tooth, hands free stereos for 150 bucks these days. They come with the microphone and everything to set you up hands free. Makes your truck just like a brand new one. It's a nicer radio than what came with my brothers 2014 ram.
