Buy Sirus for your smart phone. As long as you have blue tooth it will work in your radio with an "AUX" button. Our 2018 Lariat has Sirius and I use my I-Phone in my wife's Honda Civic by pushing the Aux twice. My 1956 Ford's stock radio has been converted to AM/FM and Bluetooth and I listen to the 50's, 60's, Elvis, etc on it all the time.

 

You need a new ACM ( check ACM and see if by chance it does have the satellite antenna input) new antenna, new harness and the ability to program the APIM and ACM with forscan. It's a decent amount of work for sat radio. Maybe you will get lucky, lots of us have deleted the sat radio from our trucks

 

What's the difference between streaming Sirius and just using Pandora?

 

Its pretty well documented that the sound quality of satellite radio is terrible and you get reduced frequency. With Pandora or I heart you get full spectrum and the sound is much improved.

 

 

I know you don`t want to but you should really look into an unlimited data plan for your phone but if you don`t care about the cost, adding it to your stock system is possible.
Did Ford do you a favor by running the actual Sirius antenna wire in your truck?

The OP has a 2018 Platinum and not taking advantage of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

 

That's what I was trying to get at. The sound quality of Sirius is terrible and the same songs between Sirius and Pandora are night and day in terms of sound. I am one of the people that did the forscan mod to delete the sat radio.
