Hello everyone... sorry i have been scarce on this site.. i also hear it from my friends on our motorcycle site.. Just been busy at work. Michelle and i May make it up for the day. I sold all my quads so we will cruse up in the truck.. Hope you all have been well.. Phil.

Bump up. If no interest by Feb 1, I'll plan on cancelling for this year. Not a biggie for me as there are some other Scouting/Swim Team things going on that weekend.

 

It was up in the air for a bit due to fundage, but thanks to another friend who has his group of buddies that will be out there too on the same weekend, I was able to rent a small 18' RV trailer (I'm not gonna bring mine out) for me and my son for Friday and Saturday night from a place that isn't Luv 2 Camp Trailer Rentals serving the Pismo Beach Oceano Dunes Area

Because it's a holiday weekend according to Luv2Camp, the prices for their RV trailers were enormous, but my buddy turned me on to https://slo.craigslist.org/vac/5419416065.html and I was able to secure the small trailer at a much more affordable price for the weekend.

Got my reservation set for Oceano Dunes State Park. I have a feeling I'll be the only one there reppin' for FTE though.

I'll be there hopefully around 12 noon on Friday. I plan on leaving Sunday morning.

Are you at the Oceano State Park or out on the beach?
If you had to make a reservation, I'm thinking you are at the RV park, although, the last I checked, it was closed for upgrades and repairs.

Like camping at any other state park, you have to pay, or reserve a spot, even though there are no assigned spots like a traditional campground.

I've never stayed at any of the RV campgrounds when I go to Pismo, just on the beach.

Or just buy at the gate. But on busy weekends during the summer, they will sell out.

Nobody showed up eh? I got to the gate, but did not know nobody was going to show, and didn't have your number Stewart, so I went home.

I will not plan any future Pismo GTG's as it seems nobody is interested in them anymore.
