2013 F350 Platinum - Information Display Screen

The information display screen on my cluster had the transmission gear info displayed on the right of the screen where it showed 6 5 4 3 2 1 to let you know what gear you are in. All of a sudden and not sure if it is something I did because I was familiarizing myself with all the information screens, it is no longer displaying the gear information. Everything else is fine. Does anyone know if this is something that I might have turned off or what to look for? I have been back through all the information displays on the screen and can't see anything that would disable this. The owners manual doesn't even show or talk about this portion of the information display that I have found.

Push the + on your shifter, it will show up again. You can toggle it on or off using the + and - button.

mine started this as well, but all my info is out. I can't access trip meter, oil life or any info along with the numbers. Cruise still works from steering wheel but info button doesn't do anything. I don't know if its the steering wheel or the cluster with the problem. Mine happened after a little welding and they swear they unhooked the battery first. VERY FRUSTRATED!

Push and hold the - button for at least 3 seconds to get the gears back.

As for welding on the truck..sounds like they didn't unhook the pcm. Wonder if the display is fried.

You should try to go into engineering mode and see if you have anything.

full message center you hold the down arrow button on the left hand side of the steering wheel and then turn the truck on. Should start after a few seconds.
