Thumbs up Nothing to post, my Ford is running great!

I scroll around and it seems nobody posts how good there particular Ford is running...

Mine is running great, been having lots of fun, camping, errands, work, and yeah, people give me heck about the so and so van.

But the darn thing just keeps giving me great service. Shoulda done this years ago.

Same here

And I'm always behind on maintenance!!

*7-10,000 mile oil changes,
*probably 25,000 miles for grease fittings,
*15,000miles tire rotations,
*125,000(plus previous owner's 113,000) without transmission fluid change,
*125,000(plus previous owner's 113,000) without coolant change

It's a great truck!

I'm very good about maintenance, not so good about maintenance schedules.

One thing I do know, letting a vehicle sit unused is the worst thing. That goes for air, land, or sea vehicles.

Got my steering rail repaired by a buddy. Considering doing the trans fluid today but its windy as hell today and I don't want 5 gallons of ATF tipping over in my driveway

How much wind does it take to tip over 30-40 pounds of contained fluid ?

I always manage to pull it off, ha.

Anyway, started the drain and the fluid was brand new. Swapped it out of the Jeep instead, that thing needed it!

Time to install a drain plug in the pan. E4OD hold 4 gallons, not 5. And a gallon or so of that is in the converter which drains separately.

My 96 E150 conversion van's doing great too. Been three years now since I bought it and did a GT40 head swap on the roller 351, along with going through the rest of the drivetrain. Made 2 trips to Colorado (one this past summer all the way up to Yellowstone) Once to California, a couple to Texas and one to N. Arkansas. Put 20K on it since then. Running great, I drilled some holes through the converter guts, mileage dropped a tad, but the performance has been enhanced.

Mine's Running Great Too...

My van has always run great, and has never let me down. Of course it runs a lot better with the K&N Air Filter, SCT Tuner, & Magnaflow Exhaust.
