I still can get torque pro to connect to the PCM. I rang the from the OBD to the PCM connector and all is well. I've checked voltage. I get 4 and 5 ground, 2 nothing, 10-5V, 13-0.5V and 16-12V.
Would any of you guys be kind enough to put a meter on you OBD and let me know what I should have. If you are successfully using torque Pro that would be a bonus, and if you have a TS 6 chip even better.
I used to have one of the edge CTS monitors on my 1997 f350 7.3l and it would always have trouble running and staying connected. I talked to edge multiple times. unfortunately at the end of my search for answers i found and was told that the PCM's of the 1994-1997 7.3l put out a variable/inconsistent voltage to the ODB II plug. So anything that runs off it and uses power from the ODB II can have problems running in some cases.
not sure if this is the reason why it is having problems running or connecting your Torque pro. just sharing the problems i have had with devices that run off the OBD II plug
OBD-II supply voltage is on the same fuse as the dome light. I have AE, and found that the connection would flake out when a door was open. Drove me crazy until I just tried it with the doors closed, and bam, it worked.

the 12 volts on pin 16 is all good, if thats what you mean. I'm offshore, but worth a shot when I get home.
