Oh What a Feeling
It has been very reassuring to see a lack of serious problems with the new 6.7 Engines Posted here. My previous Truck had one of the earliest 2010 built 6.7s, and I stopped checking into this site because all of the Horror Stories made me too Nervous. Although my 11 only had 48K on the Clock when traded, and had never given me any problems I was Paranoid every time that I drove it waiting for that Sound or "Pull Over" message. Now with a Fresh 2016 and a new Warranty we're planning some long trips. Oh by the way, I don't tow, or haul anything. Just like to drive big Trucks and Diesels. So basically my Truck is a 8000lb, 440hp, Grocery Getter.

I dunno. I drove my father's F-150 5.0L yesterday; it was nice! Very quick throttle response, more solid-feeling brakes, more responsive handling, roomier crew cab, and better ride. I love my truck, but despite the massive power and torque of the 6.7, the F-150 is quicker. Obviously I keep buying Super Duties when I could probably get by with an F-150, so apparently I like the Super Duty better. There is no doubt the SD is more heavy duty, but the 150 is quite well built if you lay underneath.

Congrats nipperdog... I don't pull all that often with mine either. We do go on long trips with it though. Like others I went Diesel years ago and tried to go back to a gasser only to trade in within a year back into a diesel.
I agree that it looks like 2017 is going to be a game changer for the SD...
