I moved my camshaft by mistake?!! Am I screwed?
okay doing the timing on my 2008 expedition 5.4L 3v
while replacing the phasers (with the chain off) I moved the camshaft on the (RH) driver side. Like... alot. can I just move them clockwise to the correct position and fire it up? or is everything bent all to hell??
please help!?
I do realize I'm in over my head. grown man about to cry here...

You should be fine, was prob the pass side right ? Just roll it back. It moved do to the tension of the phaser spring. Same thing happened to mine, I just did the complete swap too from MMR Motorsports all chains gears guides phasers both VCT solenoids, not too bad of a job. Best thing to have is the timing tool that goes on the crank and matches up with the pin on the block. Then check the direction of the phasers. I don't know how bad your chains were but my driver's side was so bad that it was hitting the case and was stretched so badly that you could take your finger and thumb on opposite sides of the chain and they nearly touched with the tensioner in place.
