transmission questions

i own a 2011 f150 5.0L 4x4, for reasons i will be needing to get a new/used transmission put in, and buying a new truck is out of the question right now.

ive had my eye on a 6r80 from a 2012 f150 5.0L 4x4. it has 65k miles on it,

unfortunately there is none for sale locally so i had to check the internet. I am wondering before i pull the trigger will this one fit my truck? ebay says it will, but im more inclined to be skeptical about the fitment, ive been doing some mild googling but haven't nailed down anything that makes me comfortable enough to buy it. there is a return policy so if it doesnt fit im not SOL, but i dont have that kind of time to waste.

also how much trans fluid? and is it still using mercon lv? or have they went to Mercon SP now? Any other issues i may run into like electronically or such things would be great to know too thanks!

The transmission will fit if its from a 5.0 and it uses lv. However you are SOL with the valve body and it has to be strategy matched and programmed with the Ford Ids tool.
