someone more knowledgeable may correct me on this, but i have been led to believe that when the digits on an odometer don't line up (as in the pic) then it has been tampered with.
nice looking unit though. are those stock seats for an xlt of this vintage ?

makes no difference at this point.if she is what she's claimed to be.ain't nobody going to be buying her to go mudding or snow plowing with anyway.
(not to mention,the 4wd's odds of surviving like this,is almost 0% of course.)

sure don't see 'em like that everyday.......just too bad she didn't get the 7th or 9th gen front clip before the fresh coat of paint though.

Not necessarily. There is a point in time when a trailing digit has to roll up in place. However, this smells of complete phooey. It's quite clean so it's got that going for it.

 

Anyone with a clue can roll an odometer and make it look decent. It's really not that complicated. If someone intentionally makes it sloppy then we gotta figure out why.

that trucks asking price is about $5,000 more than it cost when bought new.
repaint? ac converted? i smell a truck with A WHOLE LOT more miles than advertised at.

 

Would be a nice little truck after removing all the plastic crap and cheap chrome from it. Those seats have to be from a conversion of some type - like a Centurion maybe? I'd have to see it to believe the mileage.

 

He says he has the original tires... should be easy to confirm mileage looking at them.

 

If that is worth 14k then my neighbors ranger that is SPOTLESS with 800 miles(YES 800) has got to be worth 20k
