I have some electronic problems, my odometer light comes on just part of the time. The compass and temperature don't light up, and the radio works but the display lights don't. Is there some answers for this problem. thanks

The famous odometer blackout issue, search this forum using those words you'll find write ups on it. Common issue , weak solder joint at connector. A new radio, and temp, compass display from junkyard and you'll be all good

I have a 2006 Explorer sport trak and the radio display goes blank. Do I have to replace the radio or is there a fix for this? Have researched radios and don't really want to spend a couple hundred (or up to 800 for aftermarket with subwoofer and steering controls) to get the display working again.
