Cab light connectors?

So, I wanna add cab lights, and my 03 didn't come with any. I'd like to stay factory, but I don't wanna pay factory price. Biggest stumbling block is parts. I've got no problem building the harness myself, if I can find the parts. Sooooo....anyone know where to find the connectors and terminals by chance? And yes, I'm a tight a$$ 🙀

Frank hit up a junkyard. The harness you need runs up from plug on passenger side kick plate.
You could get them to pull lights and all.

Here is a link to Ebay for the lights and harness. Not a bad price.

Ford F150 F250 F350 E150 350 Super Duty Cab Lights | eBay

Here is the name and number of someone in Clearwater, Fl. who will have a used harness and lights. This is who I bought mine from. His name is Mike, and his number is 727-688-6453. He will have just about any part you could want. He buys all the wrecked Super Duty's from the insurance companies.

Yea, I go through pick n pull all the time, and superduty'so don't come up very often. When they do, they never have the cab lights, cause they're always work trucks w/o, and 2wd.

How much did he charge ya? I found a whole used setup on sleezebay for $65, but it's rough, and the connector to the truck has been cut off.

I don't remember how much. I think it was less than the one on Ebay. I saw that one too, and it looks kind of rough. It doesn't hurt to give him a call.

I thought all the superduties ('99-03 at least) had the harness even if the truck wasn't optioned for cab lights? Or maybe just the plug behind the kick panel?

Yea, pretty sure they all have the plug behind the kick panel only.

Red face Recon. . .

Recon sells a quality set but not sure about price. Better $$ through Amazon I think too.

I contacted them, and they said its obsolete now 😁. The dude directed me to the recon lights, lol. I'm gonna see if anyone has some NOS somewhere. In case anyone is interested, the part number for the harness is XC3Z-15B484-AA .

Update : I'm not so sure he gave me the right part number, but it looks like if it 'is' the right part number it's between $72-$85...I may have to admit defeat, and either buy the recon's, or save my lunch money, and buy the ford kit 😁

Ford only supplies parts for 8 years from what I've been told... The body changed and the harness changed in 2008. The lights got a different shaped plug and the harness moved to the driver side. There are still a few parts that carried past the style change, but anything younger than 2008 will be increasingly difficult to find new OE parts for.

If you don't mind making a harness, pretty much every wiring connector ever used by Ford is still available through Motorcraft.

I bought this and put it on my truck a few weeks ago, the metal template that he provides with the kit makes it worth the price, you can see it in the picture below, I priced 5 lights and the harness from the dealership at a little over 200 and I wanted to be stock, so this guy was a better deal and you get the template.

it gets you to this, every light fit perfect, three holes per light.

Oh yeah, it plugs in to the harness on the passenger side foot well, nice and clean, no cutting the wire harness, I have a 2002 F250.
