You can hook your gauge up by removing one of the oil galley plugs along the inside of the head.
You're right, I thought I remembered it being the IPR. Here is a video of the truck with the ICP unplugged then plugged in.

i thought I would revive this thread instead of making a new one. I finally got the time to pull my IPR and reseal it, and I also pulled it apart and cleaned it just to be thorough. When I put everything back together and refilled the HPOP, the truck ran like it just came out of the factory. But once the old oil from the pan got sucked up it started running rough again. The oil only has about 2500 miles on it, so does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? I may just get a new IPR and see where that gets me I just don't want to spend $185 dollars on something that may not fix it.

I would do an oil change. Maybe that's your problem. In the process I would take a sample and send it in for analysis. It may give you what you need

Just ordered one today, so we will see what is there. Fingers crossed nothing serious pops up.

What kind of oil is it? Hard to imagine it could be so broken down in 2500 miles that it affected the injector operation, but you never know. Are you using an oil additive like Lucas? That could explain it. Hope nothing else is wrong.

Rotella 15W40, nothing special. I used a lucas oil treatment about 4 oil changes ago but havent used anything since. I usually change it every 2500-3500 or so because I drive mostly short trips.

I've noticed with mine when I go past 3500 miles it start to idle a little rougher. I think that's why my wife likes to ride in it. It vibrates

How long is your usual oil change interval? Maybe I'll leave it and drive some girls around and see how they like it.

Then my interval is ok I think, since I plow as well. Do you think my HPOP could be going?
