1992 5.0 won't idle when cold outside
Just bought this 1992 5.0 truck to start restoring with my grandson, above 50' outside hit the key and all runs great but when outside temp falls lower than that the motor hops and sputters then dies , try cranking a second time it's a little better and by the third attempt you can keep it running with the throttle and it levels off and runs as always, any input would be greatly appreciated

Already changed the IAC
47 degrees this morning and it's like the motor is trying to jump put when it does start and I have to rev it to keep running but in less than a minute or two it's like something kicks in and idle is fine, just does it in cold weather below 55 degrees and the colder it is the harder it is to start??? Had a 1994 5.8 bronco for eighteen years and never any issues with it in a quarter million miles, I'm stumped
