4" exhaust with a Pacbrake??
Hello !
I am wanting to upgrade my exhaust on my 1997 F-350 DRW to a 4" turbo-back system. I do have a Pacbrake installed. I noticed during my research that they sell an adapter for a 4" exhaust system. Have any of you done an install with a Pacbrake? Got any tips to share? FWIW I have ordered the adapters (2) and a Diamond Eye 4" turbo-back system. Thanks in advance for any info you can share!!
Note: Sorry if this has been addressed somewhere here, I attempted a search but may not have been using the correct terms or spelling.

Hey sorry I have taken so long to get back to you. Luckily, the previous (first) owner of this truck saved EVERYTHING including the manual, and instructions from the dealership where he had the Pacbrake installed. It is a model C-15000 Exhaust Retarder

It mounts directly to the back of the turbo, and is vacuum operated. I am still trying to figure out the 3 position switch in the cab but it seems the "up" position applies the brake manually, the middle applies the brake any time you let off the throttle and "down" is like a cold weather warm up position? Sorry getting side tracked on operation of this thing...... it's still new to me.
I'm not sure what size the outlet is on this, whatever size stock exhaust is I'm guessing? now looking at this, it seems different from Pacbrake's current offerings which are air actuated and don't appear to mount directly to the turbo.
EDIT: If that link to the install manual does not show enough, I can try and snap some pics in the daylight to better illustrate. The more I look at it the less I think I'll need those adapters.....may need one but defintely not 2. Those must be for the newer PXRB models?
