Bushings on clutch rods/linkage??

I have an 81 E150,4.9,with the 3 speed overdrive transmission. My clutch linkage is way worn out.All of the holes are elongated, and the rod ends are literally worn in half.
Fortunately my brother in law is an excellent machinist. My question is ,were there nylon bushings on the ends of the rods originally?
Does anyone know where to get them,or have a part number from Ford?
The way all this came to a stop,is that the clutch pedal, (that has the retaining bolt machined on it,for the first linkage arm),bent almost in half.
I would like to find a new pedal,so I can replace it.Got a part number for the pedal? Thanks for you help,in advance.

When new there should have been nylon or bronze bushings between the rod and their attachment points.

Contact member NumberDummy as he has an amazing amount of older vehicle info possibly including the Ford bushing part numbers. Once that info is in hand do a simple Google search for "Ford F2UZ-99999-AA" or whatever p/n's were assigned during that era.

Worst case scenario a speed shop should have some sort of bushing kits for Hurst-type shifters---those might work as well.

No joy.

I bought the Hurst kits, both nylon and steel. The bushings are too narrow side to side.Real close in diameter, but not wide enough.
The clips appear to be for smaller diameter rods too,so are not going to work.
I would like the for retainer spring clips number too.
Good idea,keep them coming.Thanks!

That's all I got---sorry?! Been too long since I've worked on that style shifting linkage---oh the horror stories I could tell about being in a hurry.

NumberDummy should be along sometime or track him down and make contact-------he's pretty amazing with older info like you need.
