The VSM in my '02 is dead. Anyone know for sure what years had the VSM? There is an '04 (6.0) being parted out in my area. I know the VSM needs to be programmed by the dealer for my rig, just need to know if the '04 had one, and if it's identical. Thanks.

 

As far as I know, just the '02 model year had that particular iteration of the module.

02 & 03 7.3 for sure, don't know about 04 up but I am going to guess it is likely that they do since the VSM is linked with the hybrid instrument cluster which appeared in 2002 and according to Circuit Board Medics is the same cluster used in 2003 & 2004.
