The Forks/Moxie Gore Maine - Moxie Trail & Falls - 10-4-15

good evening folks! this weekend let me take you on another adventure here in vacationland aka Maine.this time back over to western Maine again but this time up north a bit to catch some early bird special fall foliage with a drive and camp over at the forks & moxie gore.so lets take a ride!

so this weekends adventure starts out on a late Saturday night pitching of the tent by the cars headlights with a bright half moon in a large empty gravel pit i find.with a new sub zero sleeping bag! and good thing too,cus she dipped down to a low of about freezing/32F last night.i stayed real nice an toasty this trip!

so here we are (all pics taken today of course) at this overcrowded town.

at the trail head.

lets enter the big wild western Maine woods.....lots of moose over this way.didn't see any but all kinds of tracks.

the color is coming!

once approx halfway in the (one mile/one way) easy trail your welcomed, followed by some stairs,a boardwalk and this time of year, more vibrant foliage starting in nicely.

let's continue on guys....................
