Too bad for your friend. Hope he holds on for the last two events. I'm sure he appreciated your support if he even knew you were there. Have fun.

Definitely knew we were there, Gary and I spent a large part of the day in his pit. Got to spend some time discussing mod motors in street rods with Mike's crew chief. He has a Factory 5 '33 that he installed a 4.6 3V like we are putting in Gary's truck and a coyote 5.0 in a 64 Mustang that's currently in getting paint. Does that sound anti-Ford?

PIC's next time you get to play in that FORD garage! Have fun (that's what this site is about isn't it? I think that's the point of this whole post so I think you understand it very well.)

Which Ford garage? Gary's? I've been posting a ton of pix on the 4.6 mod motor install we are doing in the build threads. Kevin's (Mike's co-crew chief)? His garage is in Buffalo, I won't be headed that way any time soon.

The factory5 33 is a Ford replica right? And the Mustang is a Ford so that makes it a Ford garage even if they have other mfg models. But I agree a trip to Buffalo this time of year may be hazardous to your health as you may run into snow!!!!

Yep, not going to Buffalo anytime soon. I left in 79. Miss my brothers, and friends but not the snow. Drag racing season there ends next week. Yes the F5 33 is a Ford replica, and Kevin's 64 Mustang is a remanufactured steel original. Both Ford mod powered 4.6 and 5.0 respectively. I knew that, so wanted to get more details on years, trannies and ECUs he used, especially the Coyote.
2nd round PM at Charlotte just ended. Troy Coughlin (beat Mike yesterday and 2nd in points coming in) lost this round, so Mike should retain points lead.
