I cannot even find one on any dealer lots. ALL trucks have 5,5 beds for some reason. What do people do with a 5.5' bed?

 

The 5-1/2' bed was not useful to us. That's why we had to order one. Will try to get a picture of ours when the sun comes up.

 

Great looking truck and as far as I know, searching for one on a dealers website is impossible. I bought a new 2012 super crew / 6.5' bed and the asked the sales manager. "Not possible to search a 157" wb". He located 2 in the southeast at that time. I bought one.

Same thing with my dealer, my salesman had to bring my truck in from another dealer with the 6.5, plus the othe options I wanted. There were a few 6.5s on their lot.

I live in MD and I too had a very hard time finding the exact F-150 I wanted. Platinum, Black Exterior & Interior, 5.0, 6.5’ bed. I finally found one on Labor Day weekend and bought it with Ford's 0% for 72 months. Absolutely love my new truck!

 

I think I like the look of the 6.5 ft bed on this generation a little better than the 5.5 ft bed. Something with the proportion of the last generation made it look to long with the 6.5 ft bed.
