I have a 06 ranger xl 2.4 liter pretty much stock motor 60000 miles. My check engine light came on the other day code the lean code on bank 1. I reset it only for it to continue to come back on.... So i put some high octane gss in my truck and no issues so far since them i refilled my gas tank with cheap gas and out stayed of anyone ever hard of this
