2012 ford f550 superduty 4x4 6.7l dual rear 60k wheel front brake job
this truck has 60k no braes job yet until maybe now. the front and back rotors get that rough ring on the face of the rotor but its not whole rotor mainly the centers and the inside and outside are smooth. whys that happen?
FOR THE FRONT ---
should i cut the rotors or get new ones?
i will be going with oem motorcraft
what are the torque specs for the
caliper to bracket?
caliper mounting bracket to spindle?
extension piece from rotor to rim?
lug nuts?

I see you aked this question 7 months ago and no one answered? Ok here's my thoughts, if the rotors have deep rings or grooves then maybe they could be turned by a REPUTABLE brake shop, they won't turn them past the thickness stated on the rotor. Also it depends on how much weight you'll be towing. Some guys never turn rotors, they buy new so the brake shop could tell you on yours. Personally I don't worry about torque specs on parts like these....bad idea? maybe but I've been doing brake jobs on my cars and trucks for over 50 yrs. and so far (knock on wood) no problems. Like it's said, over years you gain a torque wrench feel in how you tighten them up. Now if that doesn't work for you then I'm sure if you google those specs they will pop up somewhere. Make sure you break the pads in per the instructions.
