Fog from defrost vents - Resolved

Hey all

'89 F250. And the last two times I've driven it I suddenly get the inside of my windshield fogged up and it smells like coolant

This morning it happened and when I stopped in a lot, I could actually see a mist / fog coming from the defrost vent on passenger side.

Truck seems to be running fine otherwise

Thoughts?

Thanks

Not bad, done it several times on my '87. Figure on two hours max. Take off the glove compartment door, its' a lot easier.

Cool. Thanks

I found a DIY video on this site for slightly newer. I'm assuming they are somewhat similar and it seemed pretty straight forward.

Any tips/tricks besides the glove box? The video mentioned some quick disconnects, but wasn't sure where they meant, or what exactly I'd need.

Thanks again

Thanks for the advice guys.

Swapped it out this morning. Don't think it even took two hours.

I don't think I was the first to do this job on this truck. The hoses in the engine compartment were after market coolant lines

Anyway, I'm blowing hot air and not leaking fluid into the cab
