Help with Archos 101 G9

This is somewhat related to Ford trucks.

I've had this G9 for about 2 years.
Slowly the screen has become unresponsive.
First you could turn the screen off with power button and back on and it would work.
Then it got to the point that you had to hold the power button for 10 seconds to reboot it.
Now nothing works.

Is this fixable? If so, how?
I'm a mechanical engineer so try to keep this in laymen's terms if possible.

This site is filled with helpful people so I hope someone here is good with electronics and can help me out.
I use this device mainly to run Torque Pro in my two OBS 7.3L PSD trucks. I need to read a code on my 96, but I can't without this tablet working.
Thanks in advance!

There are many things that could be the problem... Power button, battery, motherboard to name a few

Did you check out the support website??

Support ARCHOS

Probably not worth fixing.. It's just an android tablet
