1960 Heater Core

Looking for a B7TT-18476-A Heater Core dimensions are 9 1/2" x 6" x 2 1/2"
Recirculating heater.

B7TT-18476-A .. Heater Core - Use with Fresh Air & Recirculating Heater*/ Obsolete

Applications: 1957/60 F100/1100 / No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Take it to a radiator shop and have it recored.

Whats the story? Why no direct fit heater cores for this vintage??? I need one!

Seems like someone posted a while back finding a generic replacement that fit. Can't remember who or how long ago. I would start by measuring the coil and searching by size rather than model.

I know but is a pain in the tocus and only a workaround to boot! Not enough demand I guess.

You will have to remove the coil to replace it anyway. Besides, you are supposed to be sanding.

I installed mine several years ago. Outer dimensions are the same, but the thickness is less. It came with soft foam included to make up the difference. The hard lines didn't make it out of the firewall. I just opened up the holes and fed the heater hoses into the box and clamped them on. It works very well. All aluminum, not brass. O'Reilly's had it on the shelf. Cost me $25 back then.
