Can you put up a link to the site?

I can send a pic of an SAE #2 if you want. I took it off my cummins out of a blue bird bus.

If you do end up going with a medium duty trans, the tranny "to have" is the FSO8209A. Its around 340lbs and is a 9 speed vs the 6 speeds and is only 2 inches longer. It's a synchro 9 spd, 9th = 0.75, 1st = 9.45, steps about 1.37 to 1.40, It works with SAE#1 or #2.

All eaton 6 spds use a SAE #2.

Are you a 4wd? Have you thought about t case yet?
So do you think the sae 1 bell housing would work best without modification to firewall or a lift? What did you do a Cummins swap on and did you use an Eaton trans?

Here is an image of an SAE 2 flywheel housing. This is what your tranny bellhousing will bolt to, as you can see it not like the bell housing direct to block like the ZFs...(there is a thin spacer between our ZFs and the block) its the flywheel housing itself that makes it difficult to fit.

This is not my swap here but one that depicts one of a fellow putting a eaton behind a 6bt

Here is the tunnel mod he had to do just to get it into his dodge....

This was a direct drive roadranger 13 speed... RTO-9513. Similar to the eaton I posted as the one to have...its direct drive though. and will take 900 ft lbs as a duty cycle

It looks like from the pics that the cutting was done for the trans supports to work.

Agreed, this was on a dodge, but I wanted to reiterate that there will be extensive tunnell and firewall modification to get a #2 housing in there. I was trying to get you a visual on the flywheel housing size. They are not small by any means, but anything can fit with a ton of time and fabrication :-)

And no, I would never fab a support like that either!

A 5 or 6 speed, yes. A 13 speed in a pickup, my only question would be, Why? That trans weighs about as much as the Cummins its going behind and would be a pain to row through the gears, I know, I own one.

I agree with you on that.
