A little bit of everything. Sometimes upwards of 20,000 thousand but mostly between 10 and 15K. Any bigger and I use the 600 HP kitty cat.

Wow, that's a load. I think you need a 445 stroker kit.

What pistons did you use to get the 9.2:1 compression ratio? I've been considering swapping in a 428 crank in my 390. It looks like yours makes plenty of torque to haul my 6000lb camper.

How much total timing do you run? Have you ever had any pinging issues?

I reran your sim and changed only the cam (Lunanti 62002)
if you look at the TQ it stays steady instead of dropping off .
I believe a simple cam change will help you big time with little $ spent

Dang, I've got to find me a 428 crank. That's great towing torque right where it's needed.

1972Redneck, what pistons did you use for your 410 build?

Ok we must have some wires crossed - I already have a 428 crank in a 360 block giving me a 416.

That cam does make a good bit of difference. I can't wait to see what heads could do.

Holy crap! Is an extra 200HP and 50 Ft./Lbs. really possible from just a set of heads, intake, and cam? And was that just a set of off the shelf Edelbrock Performer RPM heads?

Is this actually real or does DD5 exaggerate that much?

I think $2500 for 200HP is a pretty good deal...

ALL PARTS off the shelf !
biggest thing I think your cam was holding things back , real strange how the TQ dropped off so quickly .
I ran a bunch of tests on DD5 when i first got it to see how accurate it was .
I had people that had actually ran their engines on the dyno send me the build specs and we compared the results . all in all it was very accurate , the FE engines for some reason always come out about 5-7% high on TQ but very close other wise .
