This is not the Ford or Motorcraft part number, it's the Ford ID engineering number marked on the switch itself.

D3TZ-11654-A .. Headlamp Switch (Motorcraft SW-1157) / Available from Ford, the Memphis TN Ford parts depot has 103.

1973/79 F500/880 / 1973/86 C/CT600/900 & L/LN/LNT/LT/LTS600/900.

IF it has such a switch, there will be an electrical terminal on the side or near the shifter or shift tower of the transmission.

Not a truck, but something like the switch/connector:

Can you post the codes from you warranty/data plate? It should be on the door near the striker/latch.

Once we know the specific trans we can find a diagram of that trans.

FWIW I'd just hook it up to a switch and put an indictor light in the cab so you don't leave them on.

Bill the pump and filter I have are not all in one. the pump bolts to the block and then the bracket that holds the fuel filter bolts on top of the studs. the fuel filter bracket has a heat shield for the exhaust man.

are these the same?

The cartridge fuel filter itself is the same, the filter is different.

D9HZ-9155-A .. 370/429 Fuel Filter & Bracket Assy. includes C4AZ-9365-B cartridge fuel filter (Motorcraft FG-789).

The only mechanical fuel pump for a 370/429 is the one I listed in post 26.

Hey I need a little help!
Took my dash out, and now I do not have any power to the ignition switch.
Key will do nothing.
I have lights, turn signals ect.

can someone tell me were to look.
looks like the fuse panel is on the passengers side. checked the little glass fuses but they looked good. don't know what all the fuse / relay looking things are for.
any suggestions or advise would be greatly appreciated.

I must have shorted something out when moving things around getting the dash out.

Thanks Steve

How about the grounds for all that stuff, and for the dash itself?

Trace the ignition wires back till you find a break.

Trace the ignition towards the switch.

Test the switch with a jumper for ground first.

You might get lucky.

Tedious work them electrical problems.
