My "almost" dream build

After countless hours gleaning information from this MOST helpful of sites, I'm finally on the path to my "build".
Many thanks to all of you on this forum, my "go to source" for all things Excursion!
So, I think it's only fitting to share this w/all of you, to whom this would be possible, but much, much more difficult.

Just brought her home: July 22, 2015<br/>2005, 6.0L w/184k miles

Just dropped off today at United Automotive in Imlay City, MI to install a 2014 F550 front clip and total repaint.
When I get it back, taking to my cousin, a Certified Ford Mechanic at Saginaw Valley Ford to lift of body and swap in 2005 superduty axles and clean up and paint frame and bulletproof and freshen up the motor.
So excited!

I'm waiting to see how well my 275/70 R 18 Goodyear Duratrac's on 18X9 ProComp's fit after body work is done. I will put the modified B's on rear, and probably need a leveling kit for front at very least.

Also looking to swap chrome running tubes for '14 superduty lighted black running boards. Since I'm having all plastic cladding removed, I want running boards to keep stone chips at a minimum, especially w/the more aggressive tires.
Plus, I'm vertically challenged.

I'll have to follow this since I've already got the rear quarters updated to 11+. But I'm waiting to do the front end right until I get some other things taken care of first.

I know it's not really the same since I'm not actually doing all the wrench turning, but I still want to share what I can for all that I've learned from this forum.

Shouldn't have to, you can fit 35's easily once they're swapped into the Excursion. Same principle as swapping out stock X leaf springs for SD springs for a lift.
