Hey guy wants yours guy's opinion, Im stripping at 1995 f350 dually 460 truck and it has a huge rear tank put in it, will the stock gaser fuel pump be able to pump diesel, or will explode shortly, since thiers only 140,000 kms on the tank.
You'd most likely be better off running a lift pump made for diesel. Don't know how the gas one will work with diesel in it, but you're just asking for trouble running a regulator that might have issues, especially in the winter when fuel gelling might be an issue.
If you don't want the mechanical one, get a Facet Duralift. They are recommended by many on this forum.
the in tank pump will not last very long pushing diesel through a regulator. the in tank pump is designed to run at 45+ lbs pressure, when you regulate it down to 7 psi it will overheat and die.
