Looking for a 55 bench seat near Tucson

I'm have a tricky time finding an original bench seat for my 55 F100 close to me here in Tucson, AZ.

I've found a few fully restored for a lot of money ($1,300) and I've found some solid frames to restore but shipping across the country is as much as the frame would cost.

Does anyone have any suggestions near Tucson, AZ? I'd consider driving up to 5 hr in any direction to get one.

Thanks,
Jason

Desert Valley Auto Parts in Phoenix has a lot of stuff. Try their web site. It has parts request forms and they get back to you fast. Somewhat pricey but worth a try. They are the ones with the show on TV. Desert Car Kings or something.

When I get back to Tucson on Monday I'll ask some of my fellow early Ford truck guys if they know of any.

Thanks Scott (?). I'm new to the area and to the truck I've picked up so thanks for helping to point me in the right direction.

Jason, There are some truck only salvage yards in Tucson. You may find something local. Worth checking.

Craigslist often has stuff posted under the cars and trucks section as parting out a vehicle instead of the auto parts sections. Or post up a want to buy.

Small world Kevin. If I can't find it local I will certainly contact you in late November.

Kevin - correct me if I'm wrong but you mentioned the bench seats were the same from 53-55(?). I might have a line in a 53 bench in AZ but wanted to make sure it was essentially the same seat first.

. Yes 53-55 seats are the same. 56 seats are too it's just the tracks are different. A 56 seat will fit in a53-55 but the 53-55 tracks will not fit in a 56

Kevin just to be sure I got you correctly. The 53-56 seat is the same correct maybe give or take some foam? I know the tracks are different. For shipping a seat you ever thought about Greyhound?

Yes correct, the 53-55 tracks will not clear the fuel tank on a 56, but 56 tracks will work in a 53-55

Kevin - could I email you directly? I found a seat in AZ and I wanted to get your opinion. If that's ok just send me an email and I forward some pictures.
