6.9L swap 86 F350 into a 84 E350 Opinion/Help.
Hey all!
Due to space/hauling limitations I had to get ride of the old RV block when I had the chance.
I stripped it of the fly wheel, injectors, pump, and anything else easily removed parts. I left the intake, exhaust, water pump, and the crank pulley on the block.
My concern is that I might need a part that is different from the F350 to the E350. Mainly worried about the exhaust manifolds...
Anything else i should have kept??
The 84 has cruise while the truck didn't; where is the best place to source the 'helpful brother' broken bits?? LOL
Thanks for all the help and advice guys!
That is all; Carry on!

I didn't take the Exhaust manifolds :-( I'll go back and see if I can grab them.
I Did keep the fuel filter 'stand' and the new intake has bolt holes for it to be put in place. I also kept the injectors, IP, and all the lines. I basically left the Block, heads, exhaust manifolds and grease on it ;-)
Wish it had a turbo;-) that will be a future mod once I get it running properly. It does have the big bolt hole for the RPM fitting, which I'd like to put in someday. Have the dash from the F350 just need the gauge for it.
Will the F350 dash fit in place of the E350 dash?? It already has a place for the RPM and I like the layout better.
Thanks guys!

No. unfortunately, the dash is very different.
As for the turbo, that's a tough one. There are several IDI van guys on this forum that have been hunting for used van turbo kits for years. I was one of those guys, until I broke down and bought a new Hypermax Kit.
I recently got a second van, which had the rare Banks turbo kit. That was a lucky find.
