Hey guys, I bought this truck last September. Plowed the hell out of it and here were my problems, hopefully some of you guys can give your opinions on what I need to change.

Getting Stuck! - I have the General At/2 Grabbers, I was stuck A LOT. Traction on the road was fine but I dug into deep snow a lot and got stuck. I probably used my Ford Roadside 15 times.

I was using an 8.5ft Boss Commercial plow, EXTREMELY heavy. This thing dropped my truck 2-4 inches. When pushing a lot of snow it would also lift up just enough to put my tires in 1ft of snow. So I am looking for a different plow, probably need tougher springs? Different tires?

Interior - I am looking for some nice fitting seat covers. I am sick of the covers I buy looking like a saggy diaper hanging off of my seat.

Rust - How well do the metals on these newer trucks stand up to rust? My bumper has surface rust already, should I get this truck under coated ASAP?

 

I know a lot of the getting stuck was my fault but we live in the snowiest city in the US and a lot of the properties we plow are rural, unmarked driveways or unclear and snow is commonly over 3-4 ft.
