Hey guys! I'm a newb to the Ford world. I just picked up a 1973 F-100 for $300. It's a bit worse for wear. I named it "Pinche Gringo." Currently has a 302 3-speed combo.
Plans call for a Crown Vic front suspension, 8.8 posi, 4 wheel disk. If i can find a complete, running Crown Vic, I will use the total drivetrain. I'm hoping this forum will be a wealth of knowledge. Thanks guys for any input.

 

Looks like the important bits are already there. At least you aren't starting with a total basket case like I did with my F100. Was missing just about everything that it'd need to run, and then some with the body.

Get some more pics, that looks like a pretty solid base to start from.

 

I like it so far, I need to dig into it and get it running. I'd like to drive it before the end of the summer.
