The thing is the pipe goes down on application of power.

Check the ic pipe where it is close to the Ac fitting on the accumulator/drier also.mine is rattling there.

If you are return emailing power struck from a previous conversation it won't go through

Go to his site directly and email.that was my issue last time I tried to contact him.

I hope that helps.

Glad your egt's are better Glenn. I am surprised about the 1211 though. I haven't set one yet with the adrenaline. I haven't pulled any real good hills with it though. Maybe these hot tunes are just too oil hungry to tow a big load?? I don't know. Did your icp drop that far?

Haven't you towed that big load on a big hill to see if you can set a 1211? I was on some pretty good hills, funny though the stage II tunes set them and not the stage I tune! I'm winging it with the gages, I have to get them all installed. The scan gauge is setting in the crease of the seat between me and the 20 percent seat beside me. The EGT gauge I stuck in the little shelf held in there with some goop. I'll get them all set properly eventually! In other words, I didn't see my ICP.

No, I haven't hit a big hill with this setup yet. It's been one of those summers again. Didn't get the car running till the 4th of july, and didn't end up going racing much. Never went to Pierre, which is full of much bigger hills, just went to Marion.

Maybe you just need to get the tunes all sorted out means it didn't set it with the stage one tune.

I must have missed this post last night Aaron. That means I'll probably have to cut a little off the exhaust to fit up into the DP more or have the DP spread a little for more room. I'll look at that IC pipe and AC fitting. Yes, I've just been returning emails, I'll send a new one. Thanks a million!

Your right, I'm going to tell Tony to reburn mine and send a new email to Powerstruck. The Gearhead will get me by for now, it does work pretty good, I'm happy about that!

Let me just say, a few bugs being talked about here is no indication that this build wasn't 100% successful!! I have family members and friends asking about it and I tell them it was a truly wonderful experience. So, let me just say that a few bugs being talked about is no indication of anything except what happens with most all builds, especially one that happened in three days!! Thanks again guys, your the best !

I am really amazed that it has gone so well with minor issues. It's not at all that I think the guys didn't have ability, but rather it seems to be the unspoken rule that bugs always happen when a build of this magnitude happens. I am glad to hear your EGTs are better and that it sounds like you are happy with it! I am really looking forward to seeing how it comes out when you get the gauges installed and everything buttoned up.

Glenn,
You have way more guts than I do. I'd never attempt what you did then hop in and drive across the country.
As for the noise, as the motor torques the passenger side lifts (clockwise crank rotation looking from the front), so I am thinking it's hitting the firewall.

Good luck.

haha, that's right Jim but its that time of year to get going. Two Oct. ago we left SD and a storm hit that was so bad it killed cattle and buried houses in Deadwood, SD. I had faith that this build was good!!

I corrected my post above changing was to wasn't in front of 100%. Where is Alex when you need him? LOL

Well I stand corrected. Every vehicle I have ever worked tended to pull up on the drivers mount.. Idk ...Lil

I was worried as well on the short timetable and lack of shakedown. I for one tried to check and double check all i touched to QC myself. I couldn't live with Glenn stranded because I brainfarted lol

Actually the more I think about it, I think you are right. Too much stuff going on upstairs without thinking straight....

That sounds good Aaron! Hope you enjoy it.

We only went a couple hundred miles today. Stopped at a outlet mall and Patty has been gone for three hours now. LOL

Truck ran good today, if I leave it in Gearheads hot tune and try not to go above 3/4 throttle all is good!

I think my next investment will be in some tunes from gear head if I can't make it to power struck soon. Tuning sure can make or break a combo I sure can't argue that point.
