Edit: went thru my checkbook and didn't see anything ordered lately.

 

Injectors have arrived.

2 weeks away now.

As I show it, the items we are still in need of are -
the things on the Riffraff order sheet (O-rings and seals, glow plugs, etc.)
Fluids (coolant, oil, gear oil, transmission fluid,etc.) - This stuff can be ordered from my local Shaffer Dealer or NAPA and I will pick it up.
Main engine oil filter (The bypass filters have arrived)
The turbo oil lines (Aaron is on this one)
IC Boots to replace any that were burned or charred
I have the intake elbow on my list as well (Probably part of the Riffraff Order)
And tunes for the stage 1's (though I know you were considering just using what you have).

That's what's on the list.

So far I have received -
Headlights / markers
Bypass oil filters
Injectors

Aaron has the turbo and mounting kit and is working on the lines.

The other details don't worry me a lot, but these items need to be addressed before we get started. We're doing this over a weekend so I'd rather have all this stuff sitting on the bench waiting for us than to be scrambling around last minute trying to round this up while we could be turning wrenches and chewing the fat.

In a week or so I will start to look at the attendance list and accommodations so we can make sure we have all that ironed out as well.

I have a length of 3" boot material and a few hump boots. I'll bring them just in case.

 

I'll be working on some of that stuff soon. Clay refunded the shipping and Jim gave me a heck of a deal. There doesn't seem to be a limit to the generosity around here!

 

Im not impressed with that, because they ACTUALLY are very good people to work with and thats the reason that they are winners, but Im impressed of the great generosity around there.

 

Getting closer boyzzzz

 

We are getting closer. Well due to some life stuff, not going to make it up to get the mare this weekend. That means it's going to be a 2 weekend in a row thrash session. I'm not really in to 10hr road trips these days, I'd like to split it up, but that's a tough sell being away from the fam.

 

Bring Kate and Jimmy to camp where we will be next weekend. It's right on the way if you come up RT3 instead of taking the interstate. Then they can spend the day enjoying some fun and you'll have a stop to make on the way there and back. Heck, depending on the timing, maybe I will just ride along. It doesn't hurt to have help anyhow.

 

I will bring that up today. The only problem I foresee is her back/neck. She's had issues for some time and it's back with a vengeance. Camping might not be the best bet. But you can't argue with family time and the weather has been perfect!

 

Todd, what Nate said...do it! And yes, I AM done now.

 

It's my mothers birthday today and we had the entire family at brunch so I was able to coordinate some things for next weekend. I appreciate the offer to camp Nate, but it turns out we are watching my parents dogs next weekend. Well the wife will be, as my brother and I are going to be headed up to get the mare Saturday morning. I talked to him about splitting up the trip and getting a hotel, he was fine with either way. So lord willing and the crick don't rise, the mare will be in the great state of Ohio come next weekend!

 

That sounds great, Todd. I'll be sure and have a spot ready for it. I assume you will be taking it off the trailer at my place, correct?

I guess I should back up a step and confirm that there are still items on it that we are likely to want to pull so they can be swapped to the Ox?

 

My rear tank is all I can think of now.
