I sent the injectors to Jim and the turbo to James Barder today. I left a note in each box where to send them and when they call for payment I'll tell them to give me a tracking number. Aaron, tomorrow I'll get the up pipes, pedestal and drain plate and get them ready to send to you. Also tomorrow I'll switch wheels on the two trucks and get the air bags.

Today we did the final run to the salvation army and auction place with the last of the stuff. DONE DONE DONE, It doesn't really look like there could be much in the trailer but the one I took a picture of on the inside has a ledge on the side. I put boards across making shelfs and stacked stuff to the ceiling. When the mule hauled it several years ago I knew I had a load on. That thing was very, very heavy!!

Today I attempted to switch wheels to keep my Alcoa's. OMG, I had to beat on those rims to get them apart and finally used a five foot long pry bar. Didn't have my air compressor with me and air chisel, of course! Finally got one side off, soaking the other.

We get that a lot around here, we have a bfh on stand by. However it is no fun at all on the ground. Hopefully the other side comes right off.

Aluminum can be a pain like that. Steel usually isn't as bad.

Used a bfh, tomorrow I'll take my air chisel. Ya, no fun at all crawling around on the ground. Got one air bag off! LOL

Not only stuck together, the inside rim was stuck to the brake drum too. I know that's common but I'm glad I wasn't on the side of the road trying to change a flat!

Yeah even with the bfh sometimes it's still a chore. That air chisel though sounds like that will do nicely. They get that oxidation built up and that adds to the fun.

Yeah trying to get one of those off on the side of the road would have been no bueno.

Get some anti seize when you put them back on (around the hub and a little between the two wheels) it makes it a little easier next time. A bfh is what I use just hit the tire and turn hit and turn till she comes loss.

Sounds good Kevin, thanks.

On a side note, I asked Gearhead, Tony and Powerstruck for reburns. Also ordered the headlights .

This is awesome I wish I could help. Hope all goes well

I didn't read all of this but on reusing the studs Glenn you need to find out if they are torque to yield (tty) if they are yiu can't reuse them

Thanks Mike, hope your getting healed up fine. Darin says he reuses them all the time in his race engines. This is from ARP website:

Are ARP bolts and studs re-usable?

Yes. As long as the fasteners have been installed and torqued correctly, and show no visible signs of damage, they can be re-used. If they show any signs of thread galling or corrosion, they should be replaced. In the case of rod bolts, if any of them have taken a permanent set and have stretched by .001” or longer, you should replace them immediately. See page 29 in the catalog for more detailed information on this critical measurement.
