On the bright side, I finally have both rooms in the basement finished, and the chickens are now outside in their new coop and newly re-fenced larger yard!

oh man,you sound just like my old man.he can't stand the humidity/heat either.he wont admit it but he loves it ice cold.if it's over 50F he's complaining lol.
ok sure, none of us like to be ringing wet from sweat but since the summers are short and the winters so long and cold,i just smile right though it with ease.i know there's always plenty of coolness coming latter.

I can honestly say I haven't been on a computer since Thursday last week. Spent literally every waking moment Fri/Sat/Sun doing chores.
On the bright side, I finally have both rooms in the basement finished, and the chickens are now outside in their new coop and newly re-fenced larger yard!

I currently have 29, we lost the rooster (AGAIN!) the first week, might have 1 or 2 more tho. The coop is well ventilated, and not overly crowded. MUCH better and more user-friendly design than my last one. And the yard is 24x24', and once they are full size we let them free-range.
