6.4 injector replacement

Is there a write up for injector replacement on a 6.4? I know I need new hp lines and such. I am not finding much information in searches? Thanks

6.4 injector replacement

I did find a video by srmastertech. Torque the injector hold downs to 25 ft lbs. High pressure lines are one time use. Install lines hand tight, then torque to 9 ftlbs, then turn the nut 60 degrees ( one flat ). When you first remove the hp line from the injector catch the fuel in a small plastic container. If you see any metallic debris you have a pump failure on your hands.

Turn it one flat? Do you mean to back it off a flat or tighten it further? Tnx

Tighten it further. Probably why these lines are 1 time use. I picture like a tty bolt. The fitting must stretch.

I made a correction in my earlier post, the hp lines get pre torqued to 9 ftlbs, not 28.
