Are these rotors the same? F350 Dually 4x4

Hey all,
I've got an '89 F350 Custom Dually 4x4 w/460. The front rotors need replacing. All the local parts stores sell a rotor for models with single rear wheel or dual rear wheel. I thought maybe the model for dually's would be bigger but they're almost the same. Here are the differences as per O'Reilly.

Single Dual
Nominal Thickness: 1.255 1.252
Overall Height: 3.23 3.22
Center Hole Size: 130.175 130.2
Nominal Thickness: 31.88 31.8
Overall Height: 81.92 81.9

I'm not sure why there is two measurements for Nominal Thickness and Height, I think this may be the "hat". So it looks like the main difference would be the Center Hole size by 25 hundredths.
I'm tempted to buy the single version and just see if they fit on my dually since they're almost $20 cheaper. Has anybody tried this before? I couldn't find anything through the search engine and if I can save $40 that'd be great!

Thanks!

Oh yeah, I checked Summit Racing also and they only have one version and don't specify single or dual rear wheel...

I also compared the Autozone and Napa versions and it looks like the center hole is the only difference. All by 2 hundredths.

Is your truck a cab and chassis? If not then you have a single wheel that was converted by a company like centurion or western hauler

There is a link to a pic in my signature, I've never done a VIN check, but I'm pretty sure it came from the factory with duals. But I don't really see how this pertains to my question?

your pic shows a pickup truck (has a bed,and it clearly fits correctly.) meaning it's a SRW truck that's been converted because ford didn't offer a 4wd drw pickup prior to '99.it could also be a 2wd drw truck converted to 4wd too,either way;
pull a front wheel off and see if you find an oem dually hub or front drw adapters.this way you'll know if you've got the srw or drw front rotors.

Wow, that's news to me! Thanks for the info guys. I just always assumed it came this way! I'll pull the wheel tomorrow and have a look, I haven't done much work on this truck, just hauled some heavy loads...had about 6k pounds of brick in the bed on one of my trips...
The 4wd stuff inside looks pretty stock, so I'm guessing they did a dually conversion, which means I probably have the SRW rotors. How do I tell the difference between the hubs, seems obvious because you say adapters...but I just wanna make sure...

So what exactly do I have here?

I removed the front passenger wheel and caliper but now I'm a little stuck. One of the wheel studs is also broke. How do I remove the rotor? Do I have to take off the manual hub or is the rust hiding something?

It's a good thing I decided to check the brakes out...look what I found.

That is a FACTORY 4wd dually hub. Who ever did the swap did it the Correct way

In order to get it off you need to remove...

the caliper,
the 4wd locking hub,
wheel bearing nuts,
&
wheel bearings

then the whole rotor and hub assembly will come off as one piece.
You then unbolt the rotor from the hub from that back side(you will need to persuade the rotor off the hub, aka hammer)

Well that's good to know! Thank you. Here we go with the disassembly. I haven't used the ole' BFH technique in awhile...not sure I'm looking forward to that...

Kind of a bummer because now the rotors are that much more expensive...haha.
Sooo...I think I'll be replacing;
Rotors
Wheel Bearings
Wheel Bearing Seals
Calipers
Pads

Also need a wheel stud and alignment pin (for the wheel on the hub, it was sheared off too)

Can you think of anything else I should do while I'm in there? I don't really think there is much else to replace is there? And back to the original question...would it be possible to use the SRW (cheaper) rotor on this setup?

I ended up ordering from RockAuto and got everything for WAY cheaper than the local places. I just hope it all fits now...I'm not a huge fan of RockAuto's online catalog and this is the first time I've used them. But for less than 1/2 price I couldn't pass it up...until it doesn't fit or is the wrong part...hoping for the best and should have the truck back together in a week or two.

Just a FYI. I used my brand new SRW rotors on my DRW hubs when I converted my truck to a dually. They worked JUST fine

Thanks for the heads-up Brad. I found two "closeout" deals at RockAuto for $12 or so. I read a bad review of some Chinese rotors being out of round and not quite flat...so I'll probably take them by a local shop and have them looked at before I put them on.

So I got the front passenger side all buttoned up and now I'm working on the driver side. Here is what I found when I removed the wheel.

So, looks like I have the Factory spacer on one side and this spacer on the other. Where does this come from? It was a pain in the @$$ to remove and now I wish I didn't since I still have to disassemble the hub to get the rotor off. Where can I get new bolts/nuts, the ones that were on there took quite a bit of persuasion to get off?
