Picked up an entire pick up truck full of parts off a '53 F500 over the weekend. The truck was too far gone for restoration sadly. I rescued as much as I could while the rest goes off to the scrapper.

I got:

The hood and springs, both doors, entire front end, roof, wiper parts, rear axle with complete brakes, front brakes and heater! The brake parts, axle, gravel pan and roof were really the parts I wanted. On my '56 my roof at the drip rail is rotten but this one is clean so I'll match the two together. Hood is in need of repair but not bad at all. Good to fix and put in storage. The bullnose fender fronts are clean so I'll cut them off and match those to my fenders too.

Doors are both rotten at the bottom but otherwise clean with great internal hardware.

Quite a score if I do say so myself!

Thanks! Lots of parts I probably won't need here though. I have to sift through and see what should be stuck on the shelf for future use.
