My current dent was $500. Found it in "parts truck" condition, and have slowly been bringing it back from there. It was missing a goodly amount of stuff, and I'm thankful I saved it.

$500 F-250 460/C6 It sorta ran. lol It runs pretty good now. Total investment is $1500 not counting the motor below.

Next phase: Swapping in a 1996 EFI 460/E4OD I snagged off craigslist for $400.

My dad gave me my 79 when I was in high school. I believe he gave around $3000 for it in 1985. Been in our family for a long time. Started life as an F150, I hit a tree head on my junior year and boogered the frame up pretty good. Bought a 79 3/4 ton and swapped my body onto that frame. Did a mild restoration in 07 with new bedsides and a tractor paint job. Truck has undergone more engine swaps than I can count. Lol. Currently has a 12 valve cummins and 5 speed. I don't even wanna think about how much money I have in this thing. But it's been a heck of a truck.

I paid $500 for my '77. Neighbor had to get it out of his back yard, so I moved it into mine. He still has to look at it out the window, but at least his wife can't bug him about it.
