A guy I know has a beautiful 1999 7.3 F-250. 4 in lift, 35 in tires, bed liner, chipped, 4 in exhaust, and some other extras. Only 135k miles. He needs to get rid of it and he will probably take $9k for it. With what I've seen, thats pretty damn cheap! My dad used to have a 7.3 excursion. That thing was a HOSS!

Anyways, The truck runs really loud from about 0 to 35mph. He thinks it's just a fuel injector that needs replaced. Does this sound accurate? I really want the truck but I don't want to be stuck with something that needs thousands in repairs. Are there any other common problems around this mileage?
