ford 6.0L diesel powerstroke oil sensing switch

My oil pressure sensing switch or oil sending unit seems to have gone bad as the oil pressure gauge fell off and the digital read out "low oil pressure" came up on the panel also. So I am going to replace this first, and I had a question. It has an o-ring at the bottom of the threads, so how tight does this have to be when installing the new one, just snug or is there a torque?
Any input or help is greatly appreciated.
