Readywelder, Thoughts, who has one ?
wondering what people with a lot of welding time think of this set up for a guy that wants to do a little welding. no 220v outlet needed.

I have never used nor heard of this welder. Why are you considering this machine? Are you planning to do welding in the field? If not, I'm not sure why youd want the burden of having to constantly deal with 2-3 12v batteries.
There are plenty of 115v mig welders on the market that are great machines, unless you are getting into heavy gauge steel, then you will need 220v.
My biggest suggestion to people looking buy their first welder, is to spend a little extra money for a machine that is rigged for shielding gas. Flux wire is ok for getting your feet wet, but gas makes all the difference in the world.

I believe in "The Power of Blue" - helping me are 140AS and 211AS MIGs and a Diversion 180 TIG. If I were to get only one... it'd be the 211AS because it is quickly convertible between 120v and 220V by simply changing the plug. EZ.
