Anyway, you see the subject.
The fix is the crank pulley / harmonic balancer.
When it goes bad it acts like a centrifugal clutch that is slipping.
Hence the loss of p/s and battery charging.
A/c will suffer also. You will notice that the belt turns very slow even with high revs.
Replace front main seal while you are at it.
