KAM POWER

Have you ever read or looked at something you have looked at countless times and look at it again and see something you had never seen or noticed before?

Well I just had that happen while looking at wireing diagrams I have looked at countless times while researching what circuit or circuits power the KAM memory I found I had no diagram of the PCM.
I decided to check my FICM diagram in case there was a circuit labeled KAM.

No such luck but I noticed a plug 4-wire and circuits Labeled ,FICM CAN program.
Never noticed it before and do not remember seeing it under any hood/engine wireing.
I have done a lot of researching on FICM and the PCM on a 6.0. Everything I could find since I started working on the 6.0 trying to teach my self about them. The 6.0 I had to learn OJT.

In all that reading I never saw one mention that CAN could be programed or reprogramed.

Any one know anything official on this? Also anyone have a wireing schematic of the PCM?
One with pin out and labeled circuits should be good enough for what I want.

Thanks a bunch.

I have a simplified underhood diagram I refer to sometimes. I downloaded from FTE somewhere but I've had it a while and can't refer you to the origonal post. It's too big to fit on my iPad screen and if I shrink it and post it's too fuzzy when you zoom back in to read the labels. IPad won't do document attachments, just pictures..

KAM PWR is shown as pin 40 on plug C175B (PCM122) Body Connector (46 Way) . It doesn't show the routing of the wire, it comes out of the plug a little ways to a red block labeled B+.

I don't see anything labeled CAN on the FICM in this diagram.

I take that back, there are two labeled as CAN. Here is part of the print I was talking about.

I actually had to enlarge the ficm diagram a good deal 500% before I could make it out.
My vison was so blurry today even with a maagnifying glass I could not read it.
Then I rembered it was a PDF and my PDF reader can magnify the image over a 1000 times. At that magnification I had to scrool all over to look at it.

Lol, the wonders of modern technology! I have used my phone to take a picture of instructions with tiny print and then zoomed in and scrolled back and forth to read it.

Ok my turn.
PDF time.

PC is still down so I can't add the FICM plugs to this list.

Using Forscan the other day, it showed a code for CAN for my truck. I've had the KAM code p0603 since owning the truck....... read something that said older ECM boards had a physical battery you could change but newer boards once KAM is dead it's always in alarm. AND on the 7.3, 12v power is on pin 55 of the ECM, that wire keeps KAM alive.

Nice you guys are digging in on this.

There is actually 4 labeled CAN, 2 circuits, 1h and 1L, 2h and 2L.

That may have been something I posted LOL I used to change the batteries often in the old days. There was a cover on the ecu, battery and fuse were underneath.
