Need fender emblems. Suggestions?
Edited to short version: There are holes in the fenders under the fender emblems ("F150 XLT").
I found a place in CA that makes custom billet emblems so I'll get me a couple made up to cover the holes.
If anybody is interested: http://billetbadges.com
I'll post up pics when I get them mounted but I have no idea how long it will take to get them.

It took about a week to go through the process with billetbadges.com:
Provide design, request quote, receive quote, accept quote, receive invoice. And finally pay invoice which I just now did and so they will get going on this.
They say 4 - 10 weeks for delivery. I'm hoping it's a lot closer to 4 than 10.
Meanwhile I put on a new "F150 XLT" ($25 from dealer) to cover the holes while I wait.
Stand by for joy ...

Yeah, I got them.
They are exactly like these 1.5"x9" domed badges but mine are polished vs black powder coat in this pic:
They look pretty nice and the quality is excellent but I'm not entirely convinced anymore that I will like them on there.
Part of that has to do with the fact that the place on the fender where the badges go has a slight curve and these are perfectly flat and for sure won't bend.
One of my stock F150 XLT badges (the one I didn't take off, it came to me that way) has lifted off at the front due to it being flat and the truck slightly curved. The one I ruined and then replaced myself is so far hanging on properly front and rear.
Maybe a double layer of 2-sided tape will cure that but the other part is I'm not sure I like the design anymore. LOL.
Anyway, since I'm in the middle of selling my house, I decided to pack them in a box and think it over. I'm also going to get the lifted F150 XLT badge replaced under warranty in the meantime.
After I move and unpack (mid November), I'll take pics of my actual badges both off the truck and on the truck if I put them on.
Edit to add: I really wish there weren't holes there at all and I could have no badges which is what I was after when this whole adventure started. Also, is it just me or are the Ford ovals getting bigger every year? The ones on the new 2017 Superduties look positively gigantic.

FWIW, I think your new billet badges look good. Not sure they'd look good in the F150 badge location, but they would look good somewhere?
